We are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join our growing team at our purpose built facility in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. In this position, you will represent the Quality Department in a number or QC roles where needed. QC roles include: Cleanroom inspection, lab testing, in process and release inspection in production, Mould shop inspection.

Quality Control’s aim is to ensure all products produced meet the necessary criteria by performing in process and release checks/ tests, batch reviews and any other tasks needed.

The Quality Controller will ensure that all records have been completed correctly and signed off in accordance with good documentation practice.

Please note working hours will be days to start (Monday to Thursday 7:10/7:55 to 16:10/55, Fridays 07:10/55 to 13:10/55) and then moving on to shifts hours rotating on a weekly basis ( Week 1- Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, Week 2- 2pm to 10pm). We do offer shift allowance and premium rates for overtime.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Routine checking of devices and processes to agreed specifications.
- Routine testing of devices, ensuring compliance with agreed specifications.
- Communication between Quality and Production including outcome of checks/ tests.
- Dealing with daily quality issues, failures.
- Recording non-conformance's into the system and taking appropriate subsequent actions.
- Ensuring the correct parties are informed of any failures.
- Working to and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001, ISO13485 and regulatory IVD requirements including good documentation practices.
- Working on your own or as part of a team.
**Skills and Experiences Required**:

- Prior experience of working in a quality focused role
- Excellent organisational, planning, and administrative abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including excel, word etc.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work accurately and within strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Flexible approach to work
