**HR Director Market UK & IRE**

Intrum UK is seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute HR Director to oversee both the UK and Ireland entities.

Reporting to the Global Markets HR Director, the HR Director Market UK & IRE will have significant experience operating in Director level HR leadership roles.You will be highly experienced at leading and mentoring individuals and teams within an organisation,with a proven track record of driving successful people strategies to aid business performance, employee engagement and a culture of learning and progression is essential.

Intrum UK is experiencing year on year growth and you will play a pivotal part in supporting the organic growth and the successful implementation and onboarding of new business.

**Principle accountabilities of the role will include**:

- Developing and implementing an annual HR Strategy in line with the local market business plan and overall Global HR strategy, ensuring always that HR plans support organic business growth.
- Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and delivery of the HR strategy.
- Assess the strategic and operational needs of the organisation; selecting the most effective HR delivery model; and developing and/or implementing appropriate leadership and people skills programmes, plans and interventions.
- Playing a key leadership role in implementing long-term strategic people programmes including those in the areas of employee and leadership development, talent readiness, employee engagement, organisational culture and diversity
- Coordinating and driving key areas within the business, including strategic workforce management, organisational effectiveness dynamics, employee engagement, customer engagement, leadership development, employee relations, performance management and effectiveleadership and people management across the Market.

The role holder will have extensive knowledge of local labour laws and employment legislations (including working with workers councils / unions).Highly experienced at working within and collaborating across a globalised matrix organisation, you will displayexcellent interpersonal skills and be adept at building strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
