**Do you have excellent administrative skills which you could bring to this role?**

Working as part of our Group Payroll Team, you will play a key role in a fast-paced environment, supporting our Group payroll manager with all aspects of payroll processing and administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy and timely payment at all times.

As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll build and maintain relationships by working collaboratively with colleagues and internal departments, while ensuring payroll processes are followed and administrative tasks are completed daily.

**About You**
- Experience of working in an operational payroll service
- Experience of integrated HR / Payroll systems
- Up to date with current legislative knowledge: PAYE, RTI, Auto Enrolment, SMP, SSP
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail
- Working with discretion and handling data securely
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to tight deadlines

**Your key responsibilities will include**

Working closely with the Payroll and HR colleagues and stakeholders to develop and maintain a class leading payroll service to all customers:

- Collation and input of new starters, leavers, transfers, pay related changes, absence, and variable payments
- Input and reconciliation of the monthly payrolls
- Process colleague benefits including salary sacrifice and net deductions via third party provider
- Process tax code changes via P45, new starter declarations and HMRC gateway notifications
- Perform data and quality assurance checks to ensure right first-time output
- Reconcile the payrolls and produce BACS files
- Assist in the administration and reconciliation of all pensions and share schemes
- Administration of AOE’s, court orders and reconciling deductions
- Dealing with pay related queries in a timely manner
- Assist the testing of system upgrades, fixes and new functionality as required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience
- Deputise for Payroll Team Leader as required
