The Faculty of Social Sciences seeks an enthusiastic Administrative Officer to work in the friendly and professional Administration and Assessment team.

This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join this team who provide support for the Undergraduate and PGT (Postgraduate Taught) business processes of the student life-cycle from enrolment to graduation. The post will be involved in a range of business processes which include: enrolment, academic programme management; assessment management, progress management and graduation. You will work closely with the Team Leader, Senior Administrative Officers, Academic staff and other colleagues across the University to ensure effective and professional support for all aspects of the Faculty’s student administration and assessment activities.

Direct experience of the role described in the job description is not a prerequisite. This role offers excellent potential for career development within the organisation for the right individual and the opportunity to experience a wide range of higher education administration.

Strong IT skills are key for this opportunity, along with the ability to plan and organise your own workload, use your initiative, work well under pressure, and communicate effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.
