**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join the wastewater performance team as a Network Performance Lead.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where you will lead, inspire and direct a team of technical experts and admin support assistants to deliver first class investigations into misconnections and customer misuse (fats, oils and grease). You will work closely with internal teams along with the Environment Agency and Local Authorities to monitor progress and sign off improvements. This role directly supports our work to reduce pollution, sewer flooding and blockages.
You’ll be confident holding challenging conversations and have strong persuasive skills to support the misconnections and customer misuse teams to deliver recommended solutions.
You will be able to identify performance shortfalls and implement agreed improvement plans and be confident in designing and delivering presentations to senior managers and external stakeholders. You will be innovative as you look for improvements to enhance current processes.
**About you**
You’ll have proven experience of being a strong team player, involving and supporting others in problem-solving and decision-making processes, along with effective relationship management and networking ability (across all areas of the business and with external stakeholders).
We’re looking for you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with highly developed literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will be motivated to embrace innovation and to look for and highlight potential improvements in ways of working.
