**About Us**:
Cake Rituals is a specialty cake shop in Newcastle, creating beautifully crafted cakes for all occasions. We pride ourselves on combining creativity with quality, and we’re looking for a motivated Trainee Cake Decorator with some prior cake decorating experience to join our team and grow with us.

**Role Overview**:
As a Trainee Cake Decorator, you will assist with decorating cakes while further developing your skills under the guidance of our senior decorators. You will also help create engaging content for our social media platforms, showcasing our products and processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Decorate cakes using various techniques, including icing, fondant, and edible decorations.
- Collaborate with the baking team to create custom designs based on customer requests.
- Ensure all cakes are produced in accordance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout the decorating process.
- Assist in the preparation of cake batters and other baked goods as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of decorating supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Stay updated on current trends in cake decoration to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Support the creation of content for social media (photos, videos, reels).

**Requirements**:

- Some previous experience in cake decorating or similar baking roles.
- Experience with social media, including posting and creating engaging content.
- Passion for baking, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving skills.
- Driving license is a benefit but not essential.
