**The Role**
We’re seeking a skilled, hands-on **Cake Maker / Cake Decorator** to produce beautifully finished cakes in a fast-paced bakery. If you love detail, creativity, and delivering top-tier presentation — this is for you.
**What you’ll do**
- Prepare and decorate **cakes, cupcakes and pastries** using fresh cream to CakeCo standards.
- Design and finish **custom cakes** for birthdays, weddings and special occasions, following customer specs and brand guidelines.
- Maintain **consistent quality** in flavour, presentation and freshness.
- Follow **food safety, hygiene and allergen control** procedures at all times.
- Contribute ideas for **new designs, seasonal ranges and displays**.
- Collaborate with the team on **production planning, inventory checks** and occasional **training**.
**What you’ll bring**
- **1+ year** professional experience as a Cake Decorator / Cake Maker / Pastry Chef (minimum **6 months** cake-decorating experience required).
- Artistic flair, creativity and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent **time management** for high-volume production.
- Positive, **team-first** communicator.
- **English**: required. **Work authorisation**: UK required.
