We are currently going through a period of rapid growth and so are currently recruiting a **NIGHTSHIFT, experienced** **Hygiene Operative,** to join our team in Bellshill.

**Working 4 shifts, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 7pm - 5.30am, 40 hours per week.**

We are looking for individuals who have **previous cleaning / hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment and /** **or commercial cleaning experience.**

Your main job role is to carry out a range of cleaning activities ensuring high standards of cleaning in all public areas, toilets, meeting rooms and also in production areas, machinery, equipment and tools.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure high standards of cleaning of all production areas, machinery, equipment and tools;
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities in public areas including mopping, sweeping, polishing, vacuuming, emptying bins & waste disposal
- Clean and sanitise production equipment after use ensuring high hygiene standards are maintained
- Clean spills or accidents and thoroughly disinfect area afterwards
- Safely dilute industrial cleaning chemicals and use them at the appropriate levels in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked
- Replenish hand soap and sanitiser dispensers as and when required
- Maintain cleaning equipment in full working order
- Complete a set number of daily tasks as assigned by your supervisors
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly

**Requirements we need**:

- It is essential that you have **previous cleaning / hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment and / or commercial cleaning experience.**:

- Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
- Good attention to detail & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and also as part of a team
- To be reliable, punctual and responsible with a flexible approach to work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.13-£14.72 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellshill ML4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
