We are currently going through a period of rapid growth and so are currently recruiting experienced **Hygiene Operatives, **on a full-time, permanent basis, to join our team in Bellshill.

Working a 4 days on / off rolling rota, it allows you to plan your time off and make the most of working just over 180 days per annum spending time off how you want to

We are looking for individuals who have **previous cleaning / hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment and /** **or commercial cleaning experience.**

Your main job role is to carry out a range of cleaning activities ensuring high standards of cleaning in all production areas, machinery, equipment and tools

**What we can offer**:

- 4 x 11.5 hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rolling rota - 8.30AM - 7.30PM
- Rate of pay is £9.50 rising to £9.90 an hour on successful completion of probation with an additional attendance bonus in place where you have full monthly attendance giving a potential hourly rate of £10.38.
- Overtime available
- Uniform supplied free of charge.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure high standards of cleaning of all production areas, machinery, equipment and tools;
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, polishing, vacuuming, emptying bins & waste disposal
- Clean and sanitise production equipment after use ensuring high hygiene standards are maintained
- Clean spills or accidents and thoroughly disinfect area afterwards
- Safely dilute industrial cleaning chemicals and use them at the appropriate levels in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked
- Replenish hand soap and sanitiser dispensers as and when required
- Maintain cleaning equipment in full working order
- Complete a set number of daily tasks as assigned by your supervisors
- Complete daily cleaning schedules and safety start-ups
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly

**Requirements we need**:

- It is essential that you have **previous cleaning / hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment and / or commercial cleaning experience.**:

- Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
- Good attention to detail & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and also as part of a team
- To be reliable, punctual and responsible with a flexible approach to work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.38 per hour
