We are looking for an ambitious finance apprentice in a supporting role that will assist in daily task for the preparation of financial reporting. The role will include aspects of Credit control, AP, AR, Bank and other Balance sheet recons as well as adhoc tasks from various Senior Finance Team Members.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Accurately maintaining and posting financial transactions
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information
- Ensuring compliance and identifying irregularities
- Supporting role for Credit control, Accounts Payable and Senior Finance team members
- Adhere to strict reportable timetables for outputs in line with the requirements of the finance team
- Assist with accounting queries within the organization
- Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Frequent communication with foreign colleagues and stakeholders, including external auditors to resolve queries and obtain information
- Prepare and report on any variances to budget and prior year results using NetSuite reporting system

- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Critical thinking to solve problems and resolve challenges
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in a department where work can fluctuate
- Willingness to advance own knowledge base
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft
- Accounting qualification or working towards AAT or similar qualification (desirable)
