We have an exciting opportunity available for a **Procurement Assistant** to join our team based in **Nottingham.** You will join us on a **full time, permanent** basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary.

**The Procurement Assistant Role**:
To keep pace with customer demands and the growth we have seen over 2020/2021, we are recruiting a Procurement Assistant to join our Procurement team on a permanent basis.

**This exciting role will require you to have the ability and competence in the following areas**:

- Contacting suppliers to progress and update purchase orders
- Checking order acknowledgements
- Resolving price/order discrepancies
- Maintaining a filing system for order acknowledgements
- Maintaining the filing system for supplier delivery notes

**What we’re looking for in our Procurement Assistant**:
We are looking for someone with interpersonal skills, appreciation of good internal and external customer service behaviour and has the ability to work in a team environment Highly PC literate and a good knowledge of MS Office.
