Materials Controller

The Materials Controller is responsible for inventory control, coordinating of all production materials required for manufacturing and subsequent completed products. They take a lead role in utilizing our ERP system to the fullest extent to support production planning, procurement & shipping activities.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**:
- Proven experience of managing the flow of materials in a manufacturing production process utilising ERP / MRP systems
- Must have strong attention to detail with proven capabilities in handling multiple priorities
- Flexible approach in order to support fast paced and changing working environment.

- Organised and methodical
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
**ERP System Tasks**
- Processing material usage.
- Conducting daily cycle counts and recording.
- Clearing negative stock levels for cycle counting.
- Book in all material and hardware deliveries.
- Update Country of Origin for all components.
- Allocate & kit specialized material deliveries / hardware.
- Run Material shortage reports.
- Completed orders job closure.
**Production Support Tasks**
- Prepare hard copy job packs, physical delivery of material to production cell and recording of material issued
- Physical daily / monthly cycle counting of inventory
- Control hard copy paperwork and scheduling 3rd party archiving
- Liase with sub-contractors to arrange outsourced operations such as grinding, plating & hardening
- Arranging weekly scrap material uplifts with 3rd party
- Complete spare part stock orders for customers
- Physical delivery of completed jobs from the production cell to dispatch & short by customer
