Here are Watkin Jones we’re recruiting for a Payroll Officer to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. We are looking for someone with Payroll experience who is able to provide a highly professional payroll service in line with statutory, legislative,and contractual obligations.

As part of the Payroll team you will be working to strict deadlines to ensure the efficient and reliable processing of payrolls for two companies within the group across the UK and Ireland totalling over 700 employees, with one weekly and three-monthly payrolls.

The Payroll Officer will also assist the wider Payroll team in processing employee expenses claims via the company online Expenses System and administration duties with regards to the employee accommodation booking system.

Please note that this position will be operated entirely remotely.

**About you**
- You will have significant end to end payroll processing experience in a similar role
- Ideally be CIPP qualified or hold an equivalent Payroll qualification
- Team player, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good system skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
