**Pay Rate: £12.64**

**Hours per week: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 - 40 hours per week**

**Role Overview**

We’re looking for a Mobile Operative (Grounds and Cleaning) to support our client’s site in the West of Scotland

The role of Mobile Operative will be responsible for attending high profile client sites within East Scotland region, assisting in grounds maintenance, small handyman duties, porterage and cleaning duties supporting on site teams when required. Liaising with our on-site teams, and clients, when on sites in a professional manner at all times is key to contract specification delivery.

Sites covered will be in the west but may be requested to assist in other regions if required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Groundworks**
- Undertaking routine ground maintenance
- Seasonal grass cutting & hedge trimming
- Power washing external areas

**Cleaning**
- Assisting in maintaining a high standard of cleaning
- Providing holiday / sickness cover
- Undertaking high level cleaning
- Undertaking deep cleaning of areas as required
- On call to deal with various cleaning events
- Operating cleaning machinery

**Maintenance**
- Undertaking small maintenance / handyman tasks
- Maintaining small appliances

**Health & Safety**
- Ensuring adherence to company health & safety policy at all times
- The following of risk assessments and method statements
- Reporting all incidents / accidents promptly and taking corrective action where required
- Helping always create a positive safety culture across the team

**About You**:

- Working knowledge of gardening practices
- Previous cleaning experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have original ID for baseline / PVG check
- Observant and thorough.
- Self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised
- Team player
- Effective communication skills, able to interact in a pleasant manner with staff at all levels, and to encourage and motivate a diverse cleaning team.
