**Masterclass Education **is supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join their fantastic team. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, or English language learners.**:

- **Assist students with classroom activities, assignments, and projects under the direction of the classroom teacher.**:

- **Adapt instructional materials and activities to accommodate individual student needs and learning styles.**:

- **Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence, independence, and self-esteem.**:

- **Support students in developing social skills, communication skills, and behavioural strategies.**:

- **Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.**:

- **Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for support at home.**:

- **Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and observations.**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.**:

- **Knowledge of strategies and techniques for supporting students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, or English language learners.**:

- **Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.**:

- **Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and well-being of all students.**:

- **Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from classroom teachers and other professionals.**:

- **A commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education.**

Masterclass Education work exclusively with a large amount of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across the area who look for MCE staff to be with them on daily cover, short and long term contracts. Masterclass are a part of the REC and Crown Commercial Service, offering the most valued and trusted service.
