We are seeking an experienced, confident and solutions-orientated HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. Reporting to the HR Director, this role requires a relentless pursuit in implementing best in class processes and practices. You will be encouragedto use your imagination and initiative to drive growth, efficiency and high-quality performance to produce outstanding results.
This is a full-time position and we are currently operating semi-remotely from our offices, therefore welcome applicants based in the South West, South East, London and surrounding areas, noting that there would be occasional travel across the UK and more regularlyto our Bath and Bristol offices.
The HR Business Partner works closely with senior leaders as a proactive, professional, commercially aware partner to the business to deliver expert HR solutions. The role requires someone comfortable with generalist HR support activities and keen to developstrategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aligning global/regional/national business strategies to HR strategies and initiatives, diagnosing business challenges, exploring alternatives and recommending best-fit and continuous improvement solutions.
- Provide HR consulting expertise to all levels of management and employees to enable performance delivery and employee engagement.
- Guide and train management on the execution of HR policies and people practices ensuring appropriate legal and corporate compliance.
- Oversee local Employee Relations cases, providing advice to line management across a wide range of employment issues.
- Management of succession planning across region with involvement at all levels. Partner with Talent Management to manage proper succession and high potential planning.
- As part of Workforce planning - Develop a hiring and workforce plan based on a defined schedule and work with the Talent Acquisition team to implement
- Play an enabling role in coaching and mentoring leaders; being their trusted advisor.
- Identify and recommend Training and Development needs
- Lead and/or participate on key projects such as strategic change programmes.
- Support business leaders to drive engagement for their areas with proactive initiatives.
- Participate in annual performance reviews and pay planning
Your Skills - What you need to succeed
- HR experience preferably gained within an internal customer oriented, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness in a busy, reactive, changing environment.
- Experience across a wide range of employee relations issues.
- Ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility quickly.
- Project management skills and to lead and track initiatives.
- A positive, willing attitude with high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility and resilience to work within a demanding business environment.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR qualification.
- Experience in and a working knowledge of UK Employment Law.
