Crown SDS are offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a great team environment in a rapidly growing business. This is a very hands-on supervision role ensuring the smooth day to day running of warehouse and logistics.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Controlling and Managing Inventory
- Planning and co-ordinating incoming goods, storage and despatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve the objectives and KPI’s as determined by the Management.
- Supervising and managing daily operations
- Enforcing company rules and regulations
- Communicating with drivers to ensure efficient receipt and delivery of products

**Duties Include**:

- Ensure the team are working safely to ultimately achieve customer requirements
- Plan, coordinate, monitor and assist with the receipt, order and dispatch of goods
- Oversee and ensure completion of general daily duties
- Ensure deliveries are unloaded within given time scales and checked against paperwork reporting any errors to the parties concerned
- Loading and unloading of imports and exports, trailer and containers ensuring accuracy and maintaining safe load systems using manual handling or fork-lift equipment.
- Ensure accuracy when loading vehicles, maintaining safe load standards
- Updating and maintaining system accuracy for all movements
- Ensure warehouse projects are completed and meet the required standards
- Ensure the customer receives a first-class service
- Demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure.
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
- Ensure deliveries are unloaded within given time scales and checked against paperwork reporting any errors to the parties concerned
- Organise and process pallet network movements to correct vehicles checking load requirements and ensure timely dispatch of goods
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer and planning / routing requirements are met
- Responsibility for onsite security, including carrying out searches as appropriate and setting of alarms
- Other general duties to maintain efficient working of yard and warehouse.

- Any other ad-hoc duties as required within reasonable request.
- Escalate issues and maintenance needs for leased van.

**Applicant Criteria**:

- Strong work ethic giving full attention to detail and accuracy as high degree of detail and focus is required on every job
- Good Knowledge of Warehouse H&S
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff.
- Goods in and stock control experience
- Be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent personnel skills with rapport building abilities
- Strong administration skills
- Willingness to be flexible
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with willingness to co-operate and work effectively as part of a team
- Counter-balance FLT license compulsory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
