**About us**

Fitzbillies is a Cambridge institution, founded over 100 years ago and best known for its ultra-sticky Chelsea buns. Nowadays, Fitzbillies is a thriving, local, independent bakery and hospitality group. The original Fitzbillies is located at Trumpington Street where we have a 90-seat café and 20-seat coffee shop, we also have a smaller sister branch at Bridge Street which has a 50-seat coffee shop.

As the business gets busier and grows, we need someone with good people skills who enjoys being part of the team and strives to provide excellent customer service.

We are seeking an outstanding Front of House staff member to greet and serve customers, provide exceptional customer service and ensure the café meets company standards. This is a full-time position. The Front of House staff member should be capable of welcoming customers and greeting them with enthusiasm, serving food and drinks with care, washing dishes and cleaning the premises with attention to detail whilst following instructions from the management team.

You should have good communication skills and an outgoing/lively personality. You will be reliable and a good team player. We provide ample room for personal growth and professional development and encourage our employees to do so.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Take and complete orders.
- Answer customers' questions about the menu and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Assist with drink orders.
- Complete cleaning tasks
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers.
