Global organisation operating within the FMCG sector is seeking to secure an experienced - BI Developer - SQL Developer. The organisation has some exciting projects in the pipeline, and the BI Developer - SQL Developer will be part of collaborative BI team.The role would suite an individual that enjoys learning new technologies & IT systems.
**Role**:

- Work closely with diverse areas of the organisation - support with BI development, analysis, problem-solving, BI support & training.
- Development of BI reports & dashboards.
- Monitor & troubleshoot multiple data interfaces & automation of jobs - Business Applications cover - BI, SQL Database, SAP ERP, TM1, APO, Promax & EDI etc.
- BI Support - provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd level support.
- Implement effective & innovative BI solutions & tools.
- Assist with gathering BI requirements - build upon functional specifications.
- Implement new data reports & enhance existing reports.
- Test new BI feeds & interfaces.
- Implement & maintenance of - ETL & SQL- SSIS & SSAS.
- Day-to-day maintenance of BI process automation solutions.
- Optimise the performance & maintenance SQL databases.
- Technically document existing & new BI processes.
- Training - provide BI training to end users.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team.
- Stakeholder Engagement/Management - able to build strong relationships - understand stakeholder & business requirements/needs.

**Technical Skills & Experience Required**:

- BI Developer - SQL Scripting - strong hands-on experience - ideally 2 - 3+ years’ experience.
- ETL Processes - SQL SSIS experience / desirable to have SSAS experience.
- SQL - Optimize query & performance.
- SQL Database Administration.
- Working with large Data Sets.
- Data Analysis, Dashboard & Report creation.
- BI Support - covering 1st, 2nd & 3rd line BI support.
- Manage multiple BI tasks & projects simultaneously.
- Ability & desire to learn new technologies & analytical methodologies.
- Analytical & detail oriented.
- Excellent Problem-Solving abilities.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexible & adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills - able to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
