**The Business**

A PE-backed, highly acquisitive business with a head office in Chorley, with 3 other sites in the UK and two international. With turnover exceeding £100m, they employ over 400 people and have ambitious plans to continue their growth and are embarking on a number of projects to support that growth - one of which is the implementation of a new ERP system.

**The Role**

They are seeking an Operational Finance Manager / Operational Finance Business Partner to sit within their HQ in Chorley. The role will be four pronged:
1) Cover traditional Management Accountant duties for the Chorley site (accruals, prepayments, balance sheet recs, month end process etc.)

2) ERP implementation - this role will be integral in the transformation of their business to the new ERP system (non-technical). You will need to consult with the other business units, identify current accounting practices and support the creation of a standard costing model to be used across the company in the new ERP system (overheads, absorption, over/under recovery, labour etc.). You’ll maintain the bill of materials, and ensure adherence to the ‘new way of working’ across the other UK sites, working collaboratively with the other Management Accountants to support with their adoption.

3) They are, as mentioned, a highly acquisitive business and plan to acquire 2 more businesses within the next 6 months. Which will need to be fully integrated post-merger - something you will participate in.

4) Additionally, you will be working to identify potential inefficiencies in the supply chain (procurement, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics), work collaboratively with operational staff to create solutions to improve said inefficiencies, support with CAPEX proposals and potential disposal of sites and/or assets.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified, part-qualified or QBE (however, this person does need to have a good level of experience in order to support the other MA’s with their role
- Solid costing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prepared to travel (mínimal but once a month to see the other sites)
- Great attitude, prepared to take on responsibility
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
