**About the role**:
The purpose of the role is to support the hub management team in organising the hub day-to-day, ensuring that service standards are maintained, achieving operational efficiency targets, and following policies and Health & Safety procedures. You will be providing an exceptional quality of service to our customers and our customers’ customers.

We are looking for full time applicants for 5 days PW Mon-Sun shifts between 7.00am-8.30pm.

**What will you be doing?**:
This is a summary of the key responsibilities for the position. Additional tasks and duties may be required to support the overall objectives of the team/organisation.
- Personnel:_
- Provide leadership and direction to all staff to ensure they deliver a quality service and remain motivated at all times.
- Ensure courier time is well managed.
- Completing onboarding assessments for new riders and ongoing training for couriers.
- Check-in with riders regularly and be a positive face for the organisation.
- Mentor and champion new starters, assisting with any training queries they may have and have regular check-ins with new starters.
- Operational Management:_
- Add and manage all bookings from clients in Zedify’s delivery management systems.
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed within the specified time frame.
- Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are maintained to statutory levels in the depot.
- Ensuring the necessary reporting is completed each week.
- Maintain the depot premises to be clean, safe and tidy.
- Identify and report to the hub management team any improvements that can be implemented to increase efficiency & quality.
- Be a rider when needed.
- Client Management:_
- Respond to communications from key national clients.
- Liaise with riders to ensure that parcels are delivered where possible.
- Work with all staff to promote promotions and raise Zedify brand awareness.
- Standards:_
- Maintain the highest ethical standards as required at all times. All dealings and disclosures with customers, riders and others must be consistent, open and trustworthy.
- Comply with all company policies, practices and procedures.
- Actively strive to create a safe and dynamic working environment.

**What skillset do you ideally need?**
- An ability to work within a team.
- Someone that can follow instructions with a level of independence.
- Friendly and personable with customers.
- Ability to remain calm whilst delegating tasks to couriers.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Able to be relied upon as a vital member of the operations team
- Work weekends
