**IN2Consult / Credit Control Specialist / up to £40,000 pa / Hybrid working / Unbeatable progression**

**Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for the credit control of agreed locations, ensuring agreed debt collection processes are adhered to
- Tackle and reduce historical arrears/ queries of allocated ledger
- Undertaking monthly and quarterly invoicing process as well as weekly sweeps of uncharged rents, service charge and insurance
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries
- Billing & lease activation including ad-hoc ETL manual billing
- Liaising with Cash Coordinator to ensure all cash received is accurately allocated within agreed time frame
- Setting up of new direct debits for tenants and investigation any rejections, liaising with the cash coordinator
- Investigate/resolve query transactions with assistance of the Cash Coordinator
- Preparation of paperwork required and supporting back up for refunds and write offs
- Completing required documentation and monitor actions through to resolution - updating all internal stakeholders of progress to completion
- Proof of debt forms are submitted and completed
- Bad debt procedures are followed aligned with company policy
- Recording & reconciliation of other cash returns
- Taking legal recovery action against outstanding debtors and following through until conclusion
- Build and maintain solid tenant relationships
- Reconciliation and maintenance of tenant ledgers including posting charges and credits
- Ad-hoc reporting and other duties as required

**Key requirements**
- Experience of working within a credit control environment
- Experience of cash control accounts and reconciliations
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to deliver to tight deadlines
- Organisational ability, able to effectively manage workload during peak period to meet deliverables
- Excellent customer service - a ability to listen and negotiate with customers
- Good systems skills, including excel and an ability to manage and manipulate data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player
- Experience / knowledge of property industry is advantageous, however not essential
