We are looking for a Communications & Colleague Engagement Officer to be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of activities, supporting delivery of the internal communications and engagement strategy.
**We’ll trust you to**:
- Ensure delivery of all internal communications activities
- Commit to making sure that WWU is considered a great place to work by colleagues, customers, stakeholders and prospective employees.
- Support the delivery of a cohesive high quality internal communications strategy in support of WWU’s corporate strategy.
- Prepare and edit a range of communications to ensure consistency, quality of content and execution.
- Support the coordination of communications activities including both on and offline channels, making sure that the relevant information is delivered to the right audiences and clearly represents the company brand, objectives and ambition, priorities and values.
- Continuously evaluate, review and improve the current internal communication channels, making sure the team can maximise resources available and look for innovative ways to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the Colleague Engagement Manager and wider HR team to effectively evolve and embed the Employee Value Proposition across the business and to positively influence the colleague experience.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
- Experience of managing an intranet/digital workplace and a working knowledge of communication planning.
- Initiative and be an effective and enthusiastic communicator.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when editing and developing content for communications.
- Experience of producing and delivering effective and engaging communications across the business.
- A strong interest in improving the colleague experience.
