**WE HAVE AN EXCITING NEW POSITION FOR A TRAINEE TRANSPORT PLANNER TO JOIN NMSB TO SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR TRANSPORT STRATEGY.**

This role will act as a key member of the Transport Team, ensuring alignment with the Transport Strategy, Legal & Compliance and operation of our fleet.

Reporting into the Transport Director, this role will be responsible for:

- Supporting with end-to-end administration tasks
- Managing the administration for new HGV Drivers employee on-boarding
- Monthly input of payroll data including overtime, changes, sickness, leavers and deductions in line with payroll deadlines
- Building relationships across all HGV Drivers and NMSB Sites
- Answering any employee inquiries and visiting sites as required
- To engage with customer teams, 3rd party hauliers and also the customers suppliers
- To support the Management team in executing our internal transport solution
- To pre advise the management team of any potential failures in the Transport Operation
- To schedule work using the current Transport Management System
- To ensure the system is updated and correct in a timely manner
- Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others
- IT skills
- Self-motivation, initiative and the ability to offer new ideas and adaptability
- Teamwork skills and a collaborative approach both face-to-face and remotely
- Able to assimilate information quickly to understand the organisational environment and culture and then navigate successfully within it

The role is based on our main NMSB site in New Milton
