**Who you’ll work with**:
Leading a team of two, this is an exciting, high profile and newly created role reporting to the Director of Procurement, UKI.
The UK&I Procurement function in Flutter is responsible for the governance of external third party spend of over £850m per annum across our portfolio of brands, Sky Betting and Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair UK.
**Your role in ‘better’**:
This is strategic role responsible for procurement category planning and strategy across our UK&I technology spend of over £50m per annum. A key element of the role is leading on strategic business partnering with suppliers across all our UK&I brands to optimise their spend. The ability to influence at Brand Director and LT level is essential to achieve cross divisional co-ordination of projects and strategies.
Leadership on category planning / savings budgets and project management across the division, we are looking for strong influencing and organisational skills to gain cross brand alignment on Technology category spend management. This will help set and deliver long term vision and priorities for the category and encourage other divisional category managers to follow.
**How you’ll create ‘better’**:
- Proven relevant strategic sourcing background in a Technology category management role with a multinational corporation with divisional and global contracts
- A strong leader who will take practical and deliberate steps in every part of your role, to build and maintain an inclusive team. We strive to offer a culture of inclusion & belonging, and we each have a role to play
- In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management, bench-marking, RFX, end to end contract management, etc.)
- Strong negotiator with solid experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations
- Experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to key business owners
- Relevant procurement qualification/CIPS qualification would be ideal
