Position Summary
12 month contract
The SEUK AC Business is part of a new dedicated European AC business called Climate Solutions and is one of the fastest growing brands in the UK market. The opportunity is to join an exciting fast moving team that has very ambitious growth plans in the coming years.
With the UK being one of the biggest markets in Europe and there has been significant investment in personnel and products has been taken to prepare the business for substantial growth This growth, combined with unique innovative products and a strong customer service ethos will take Samsung Climate Solutions close to the market leaders.
Combined with the release of a number of outstanding and exciting products into the market the UK AC business is in an extraordinary position to capitalise of the opportunities the UK market offers
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
This role will deliver industry outstanding technical and design support for Distribution and Direct customers.
To operate the sales order desk function and support the external Sales team, Distribution Partners & customers with order processing and Stock availability.
To facilitate by logistics planning all goods delivered to the accurate address in a timely manner.
To support the Senior Managers by operating business administration functions within the office.
Key Results:
- Enter customer orders onto NERP/SFDC update internal order book and facilitate deliveries from UK warehouses.- Build and maintain relationships with customers and keep them advised of delivery schedules and accurate stock availability in a timely manner for new and exisiting orders.- Handle RDD dates on NERP and Order book based upon factory or Stock transfers from Europe- Build returns - coordinate and raise approvals in NERP and collaborate closely with WH team and customer- Invoice queries/Credits using invoicing portal and NERP- Collaborate closely with SDS/XPO on missed deliveries requirements and resolve with customer- Daily reporting to sales team
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Essential Skills:
- PC literate with a good solid understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook- Good presentation skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and eye for business- Professional manner and demeanour- Positive relationship building skills
Desirable Skills:
- UK operational experience in AC industry- Operational use of SAP Business Software- Good project management skills and ability to work well under pressure- Experience in order processing- Experience of working with different cultures- Enthusiastic demeanour and passion for target achievement- Progressive goal & vision for success
