**SEN Teaching Assistant**

Do you have an interest in working with children with Special Educational Needs?

Are you capable of dealing with challenging behaviours?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a teaching assistant/learning support assistant to join Special Educational Needs school in the Cambridge area.

As an SEN LSA, your responsibilities may include:

- Providing care and support to students with various special educational needs
- Managing challenging behaviour when necessary
- Working with small groups of students
- Providing 1:1 support
- Providing personal care (only if you have the training and are happy to do so)
- Implementing individual learning plans for SEN students
- Interested in and knowledgeable about SEN
- Flexible and adaptable in work situations
- Caring and compassionate
- Able to work in a challenging environment
- Available to work immediately after the vetting process
- Able to travel to work via own means or public transportation

The role is full-time (Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only) and long-term with a potential to turn into a permanent role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
