Pc&is Technology Owner

**JOB SUMMARY**

As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we’ll be looking at you to lead and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the PC&IS (Power, Control and Information Systems) infrastructure of assets across the site.

You will act as the custodian of all work standards and procedures for automation, control and ‘OT’ technology, and ensure improvements are rolled out across all similar equipment to give standardised processes and procedures. Building capability of the functional teams using the procedures and work standards to give guaranteed repeatability and agility to meet customer demands.

**HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Support the Operations and Maintenance teams as a technical expert for Control systems (PLC’s, SCADA, Warehouse management)
- Build on the existing data historian system to provide insightful data to various business functions to drive continual improvement and OEE improvements
- Support projects with an emphasis on technical scope (Digitization projects, Computer Vision, Integrated Automation and Control, Machine Networking, MES & Data Collection, etc.)
- Support multiple project managers and enable them to deliver their electrical scope (Scope definition, Driving technical decisions, Budgeting, Technical vendor clarification, Contractor Resourcing, Qualification)
- Help us build capability in our organization (Manufacturing technology, SMART Factory data suite and equipment maintenance-strategies)
- Build technical mastery and maintain a technology vision to drive future business opportunities
- Provide recommendations and direction for equipment improvement, replacement opportunities and new and disruptive technology advancements of Power, Control and Information Systems (PC&IS) across Factory and Corporate platforms
- Provide communications and updates to the site to ensure collaborative working

- You have a passion for engineering, manufacturing automation and control systems
- You have a structured and analytical mind (data-based decision making)

- Proven experience in collaborating and delivering projects
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
- Experience within food manufacturing and FMCG industry (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)

**Technical requirements**
- You have a background in Electrical Engineering or industrial IT/OT technologies and experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- Experience with SCADA systems - Wonderware InTouch
- Experience with industrial data historians - AVEVA PI, including Asset Framework and PI Vision
- Web development capabilities - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, experience with SAP Mii is a bonus
- Manufacturing / O.T. industrial networks and security
- Understating of I.T. systems, including networking, virtual servers, PC’s and cybersecurity
- Strong capability using Excel for data insights
