Composite Materials is a top-tier supplier to the aerospace engineered materials market known for its expertise in design materials and process engineering. We deliver optimal material
solutions to address our customer’s most challenging demand for new high-performance materials that reduce weight, improve aerodynamics, and ultimately lower the total part costs for customers. The business supplies composites technologies to civil and military aircraft manufacturers which comprises the
majority of sales, with the balance of sales into various industrial markets.

**Job Overview and Responsibilities**:
This role will involve the physical testing of both prepregs and resin, using various internal/external methods.

Full training will be provided. Working on a three shift pattern; Monday to Friday.

Overtime will be expected on occasion, to meet the demands of the business.

Testing of resin, resin film and prepreg. (utilising ovens, presses and analytical balances).

Labelling up and passing off resins via the MRP system. Use of LIMS, Baan, QITS and various other PC based system.

Expected to demonstrate strong safety leadership.

Liaising with various areas of the business to ensure the demands of the business are met.

Ensuring high levels of housekeeping are maintained.

**Education and Experience**:
GCSE (minimum C in English, Maths, Sciences)

Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Must possess the ability to read and write in English; and comprehend technical documents

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate good time management, self-prioritisation and motivation

**Skills**:
Previous lab experience preffered

Experience of quality and advantage

High attention to detail, flexible in working hours, ability to work alone or as part or a team,

Be IT literate with the ability to adapt to new systems.
