Kitchen Porter

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to ensure a constant supply of clean dishes and kitchenware.
- Help with the storage of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and stock management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or issues to senior staff.
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required, including cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A passion for food preparation and cooking is highly desirable.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning from others.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Pay: £12.21-£14.80 per hour
