They will make a significant contribution to the Trust’s research income, research reputation and the development of research culture. They will take an active lead on research development and delivery and develop collaborative leadership in research across the Trust and South East Coast region including other NHS Trusts, Industry, voluntary and third sector organisations.

Reporting to the Head of Research, this is an exciting opportunity to work within the Medical Directorate of an innovative and developing Trust contributing to the expansion and development of the Trust’s portfolio of research.

The Senior Research Fellow will be an excellent researcher with a proven
track record and established portfolio that can lead and inspire others in the field of ambulance clinical care and research.

They will make a significant contribution to the Trust’s research income, research reputation and the development of research culture. They will take an active lead on research development and delivery.

They will work closely with the Head of Research on all aspects of management of the research portfolio, including leading on the development of expanding the Trust Research portfolio of activities.

acts as lead applicant, sponsor or co-applicant and provide strategic advice
on how best to facilitate these studies.

They will oversee the development and work streams of a number of study
specific Research Paramedics within the Research and Development
Department to ensure workloads are manageable and associated targets are being effectively met.
