The Target Healthcare Group is a niche pharmaceutical developer, manufacturer and supplier to the retail pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical wholesaler, and homecare markets.
We offer an unrivalled product range, backed by expert knowledge and exceptional customer service. Throughout the UK the Group employs over 500 staff including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse and customer services staff.
Our Human Resources team support the management team to deliver best practice in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Due to our continued growth, we are looking HR Advisor to this fast paced and busy team.
**As a HR Advisor your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to**:
**HR Operations**
- Working as an integral part of the People Team, providing efficient high quality, customer focused HR services to all our employees.
- Support the administration and implementation of our company policies and procedures and be proficient in relation to answering queries for various HR related matters, providing support to Managers and employees as required.
- Provide general HR support with all employee life-cycle activities such as contract creation, new employee starter packs, pre-employment checks, on-boarding, leaver administration, salary changes, benefits, and probationary reviews etc.
- Leading on internal communications activities - ensuring that all employees are kept informed.
- Be the front line of contact for queries coming into the HR Department and manage allocated case load as assigned by the Group Head of People.
- Provide professional support and advice to internal customers on a range of employment issues including conditions of service, policies and procedures, employment legislation and good practice
**HR Systems**
- Maintaining the HR system within the boundaries of Company policy and GDPR requirements.
- Supporting employees on the HR system - including training new starts and developing self-service capability across the business.
- Collating and analysing people metrics to shape and drive local action plans for e.g., attrition, absence, overtime, recruitment, engagement and performance.
**Training**
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of line leader training programmers on HR related matters. Ensure the content of the training is relevant to training needs identified, and in line with current best practice and legislation.
**As with all Group employees, you'll also be asked to**:
- Ensure the work you do is of a high standard and that Group procedures and policies are followed.
- Act as an ambassador for the business, presenting the Group in a positive way with clients, customers, and colleagues.
- Work flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
- Always maintain confidentiality and security.
**To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate**:
- Experience working in a similar role is essential.
- HR based qualification (E.g. CIPD Level 3 or equivalent) desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work closely with multiple departments and directors.
- A good working knowledge of UK Employment Law and best practice.
- Demonstrable organisational skills.
- IT proficiency.
- The ability to work methodically and accurately process information.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Secondary school education in Maths and English (desirable).
- Experience working in a regulated environment (desirable).
- A strong work ethic.
- To be honest, reliable, and dedicated.
**Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
