**What will the apprentice be doing?**

You will be involved with the creation and delivery of a cost-effective project office function, providing an efficient administrative, technical and governance service to support the objectives of the service delivery teams.

The role is integral to improving the consistency, and efficiency of the department s project delivery capability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Supporting the Engineering Manager in day-to-day tasks, this can be, but not limited to, on-site issues, holiday requests, sickness reporting etc.
- Assist with the checking and authorisation of weekly and monthly timesheets and expenses
- Liaising with Resource Agencies and assisting with arranging and conducting interviews ensuring that engineering levels are kept at adequate levels
- Assisting with Engineer induction days
- Quality control by auditing installation sign off paperwork.
- Ensure that all Engineers have adequate training via control of the Training matrix
- To assist with the scheduling of Lead Engineers workload.
- To assist with Engineer kit collection days.

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Business Admin which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures. Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7. You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours.

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**
- You will be a valued member of the projects department with high visibility to project management

**Salary**: £14,996.80 per year
