An exciting, entry level opportunity has arisen for Finance Apprentice to join a large, well-established Finance team on a fixed-term contract based in central Derby. This is ideal for an individual who is looking for an entry level opportunity to breakinto the field and who has a keen interest in finance and is eager to progress their career.

**Description**

The main function of the Finance Apprentice is to provide efficient and effective finance administration and support to the finance team. More specifically, the Finance Apprentice will be involved with accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit and compliance,budget management and assisting the Finance help desk.

The working hours are 8-4 when in the office or 9-5 when working from home, totalling 37 hours per week.

**Profile**
- Be educated to A level or above having obtained GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Be committed to obtaining a finance qualification up to a minimum of level 3 or an AAT qualification.
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to work professionally.
- Be eager to learn and be keen to progress.
