**Role**: Quality Assurance Auditor

**Salary**: £25k -35k DOE

**Location**: Hybrid
- York, UK

**Working pattern**: 37.5 Monday - Friday (Flexi in agreement with line manager)

**Start date**: ASAP depending on recruitment and onboarding timelines.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the delivery of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulatory work across major Fera programmes, mainly within our Centre for Chemical Safety & Stewardship (CCSS).
- You will be responsible for the undertaking of audits to the requirements of GLP (Statutory Instrument 3106) in the areas of Analytical chemistry, Environmental fate, Environmental toxicity, Ecosystems, Physical/chemical testing and Residue studies.
- Performing audits of GLP systems and studies in accordance with GLP regulatory requirements. Types of QA inspections to be conducted include study plan verifications, experimental audits, report audits and facility audits.
- Reporting audit findings and highlighting any suitable remedial actions through formal reporting, discussion, and positive challenge.
- Providing advice and recommendations to the business on GLP as required, to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Planning study audit schedules and completion of experimental audit trackers.
- Responsible for SOP ownership and review of science team SOPs for compliance with GLP regulations.
- Carry out all work in conformance with GLP guidelines.

**What we’re looking for**:

- An individual with working knowledge or understanding of GLP regulations and guidance.
- Immaculate attention to detail and investigatory skills.
- An excellent communicator and the ability to deliver constructive feedback.
- A keen collaborator but also able to work on own initiative.
- Experience of working within a regulatory environment e.g. GXP, UKAS.
- Batchelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Scientific discipline would be beneficial.
