This is a very busy, demanding and varied role in a GP practice based in Mile Oak, Portslade with over 8,200 registered patients.

You will be assisting patients to book appointments, prescriptions, questions and queries on medical treatment and conditions, signposting to other health or social care providers and booking patients in for other organisations that use the medical centre.

The role is always a busy and varied one and our patients are very friendly, though there are times when you may have to deal with people who are anxious, upset or challenging.

Previous experience of working with patients, customers or the general public would be an advantage and we offer full training and support.

We are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. (Some flexibility to provide occasional additional cover would be useful.)

Salary dependent on experience.

COVID-19 considerations:
We have screens in our Front Office area, all patients and visitors have temperatures checked on arrival, masks are worn in the practice, regular lateral flow testing for staff is available.
