**Introduction**:
The purpose of this role will be to provide practical support to management and employees to Enable Boeing to achieve a high standard of EHS performance

**The Role**:
We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to be based at Sheffield. This position will further complement the existing EHS team with consideration of the growth of Boeing activities in the UK, and be primarily located at Sheffield. The purpose of the role will be to provide practical support to management and employees to enable us to achieve a high standard of EHS performance at Sheffield and other locations in the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside existing EHS specialist to deliver seamless support for the growing output of the Sheffield facility.
- Role is based at our Sheffield site but will require travel to Birmingham & Waddington
- Requirement to support the Boeing Defence operation in Birmingham & Waddington
- Support & administer requirements to enhance Boeing’s zero tolerance alcohol and drug policy, including drug testing
- Provide Health Surveillance support, working with Boeing HR function
- Responsibilities will include day-to-day EHS support for risk assessment, EHS procedures, communications, EHS inspections, induction training, EHS observations, Emergency procedures, accident investigations, and environmental compliance and sustainability.

- Good IT skills are also important.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
