Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a manufacturing company looking for a Sales Office Manager to join the team and be the driving force behind a key aspect of the business. You will be managing a team of two salespeople and ensuring targetsare met, customers are satisfied, and all required tasks have been completed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing your team assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses and adjusting accordingly.
- Build and maintain productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programmes.
- Providing daily or weekly reports of field sales and telesales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team
- A strong background in sales roles
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and good people management skills
- Excellent time management skills to maximise their ability to reach goals
- Ability to identify, recruit and hire talented sales reps
