Even though our clients have very complex needs, they still want to experience a fulfilled life and enjoy doing the things we all enjoy, like cooking, walking, playing games, watching movies, swimming and going out and about. We are looking for someone to join our team of support workers to help a young man to live his best life. Our client has autism and so struggles with communication and likes things to be done his way. He is a large, fit young man, think Pete Sampras from the 90's and you're there He enjoys walking, swimming, trampolining and being out in his community.

At Serenity, we support individuals to achieve and experience the things we all take for granted. With our support, our clients have the opportunity to get out and about as well as maintain their own home and enjoy a more fulfilling life. Often our client's complex behaviours make it difficult for them to do these things. This is where you come in.

**Some days will be tough but the rewards are amazing.**

Although this work is challenging the rewards can be fantastic. Support staff will not be required to carry out personal care but our client may need physical support to manage challenging behaviour from time to time. You will witness colleagues that have devoted their working lives to ensure the safety and well-being of some of the most vulnerable members of our society. What could be more rewarding than making that essential difference? You will be amazed at the dedication of your team and be proud to be a part of something important.

As well as an excellent financial reward this role offers 5.8 weeks paid holiday.

The role also offers excellent opportunities for promotion both within this service as senior or coordinator or within the larger organization as a Service Manager.

Applicants must be physically fit and have the physical presence to assert themselves should the need arise. Applicants will also have an empathic approach and have an understanding of the human spirit.
