**Job Title**:Housing Support Worker
**Location**:Grantham
**Contract Type**:Temporary
**Work Pattern**:Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

We are currently seeking a Housing Support Worker to join our team in Grantham. As a Housing Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance with general maintenance tasks for our housing units.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the maintenance team with a range of tasks including basic repairs, gardening, and cleaning duties.
- Ensuring that all housing units are well-maintained and in good condition, reporting any issues to the relevant parties.
- Communicating with tenants in a respectful and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and that they feel comfortable and supported.
- Working with contractors to ensure that any necessary work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant parties.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and other team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges as required.
- A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
