Mixed Tax Manager

Our client is a Top 10 Firm based in Kent and they are looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Manager to their team with experience in both personal and corporate tax. This role requires a qualified CTA tax accountant who is skilled and well versed in compliance,to manage a varied portfolio. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working to support a variety of clients and want to work for a progressive firm that offers development opportunities and the ability to work within a leading tax team.
The Role:
You will manage your own portfolio of tax clients and be expected to provide a range of tax services and business advice to a varied clients base from small, fast growing clients to large corporate entities. The firm's clients come from all industries, so exposureto multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage. You will also be responsible for handling and/or managing the tax compliance process (corporate and personal) for your portfolio of clients, liaising with clients to resolve queries, communicating with internaldepartments to ensure deadlines are met, and overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met. Tax advisory services will also be an important part of the role and assist the partners in the delivery of advisory projects.
The firm encourages their tax team to develop tax planning specialisms so that they can deliver high quality advice to clients and this also allows you to develop a niche area of specialism for yourself. You will be exposed to tax advisory projects where youwill either lead or play a significant role in.
It is essential that you hold a professional qualification and have experience in a similar role, be proactive in your approach, and be focused on delivering a professional and client focused service. An accountancy/tax qualification such as CTA, ACA, or ACCAand several years of tax experience are essential for this role. The successful appointment will have a collaborative outlook with a process mindset. You will have the opportunity to mentor and manage a team as well as the prospect to grow the team further.
