This is a newly created role due to expansion of this manufacturing business. Reporting into the Group HR Business Partner, you will provide HR support to the business across two operating sites in the Kent region. The role manages across the employee lifecycleand will take ownership for the more complex HR and Employee Relations issues. You will work alongside two HR Advisors and will ensure that HR compliance and statutory obligations are being met.

**Key background**
- First line HR support and administration within a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working within HR, an understanding of HR practices and employment law.
- Supporting on more complex disciplinary/grievance cases, sharing a solid employment law knowledge.
- Providing advice to managers
- Act as an escalation point to support the HR Advisors.
- An understanding of handling confidential data and documentation
- Ability to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets
- Producing accurate written communication
- Collation, logging and control of documentation
- Follow up of actions for effective closure.
- Prioritising and multi-tasking
- Good telephone manner for managing calls from colleagues.
