**Part Time Community Home Care Workers wanted in Otley - LS21 - £12.50 per hour**

Ethicare are a home care provider and are recruiting for part time female Community Care Workers who live in Otley LS21.

If you are professional, kind-hearted & caring, we want to hear from you.

Our service is designed to provide care in the comfort of our service users’ own homes.

Our experienced staff support a variety of vulnerable adults & children with individual needs, always maintaining dignity, respect and promoting independence.

**Working shifts are**:

- 7am - 2pm shift (Breakfast & Lunch Calls).
- **&/or**:

- 4pm - 10pm shift (Tea & Bed Calls).
- We would like support workers to work 2 evenings per week if that’s possible.
- We do ask for our Carers to be able to work alternate weekend, with a day off during the week to ensure good continuity of care to our service users
- Full training will be given - 3 days in our office in Pudsey.
- **Car Drivers preferred** **-**However, if you do not have your own car, we will endeavour to find local work for you, but you must be prepared to travel on public transport to your care calls.

**Duties to be carried out as a Care Assistant**:

- Daily duties such as Washing & Dressing.
- Administering medication.
- Personal Care.
- Daily visits, morning, lunch, teas & beds.
- Laundry.
- Shopping calls.
- Social calls.
- Preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch & dinner.
- Accompanying to doctors’, dentists & hospital appointments.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in community care or similar roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, professional and patient
