You'll be working for Saint Gobain Supply Chain in Purfleet which is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and a busy supply chain hub for National House Builders.

Achieve targets in loading unloading, storing and handling panel timber.

This is a busy role working across 2 shift different weekly shift patterns - 5:45am until 2:30pm and 2pm until 11pm Monday to Friday, no weekends.

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Forklift Truck Operators are really important to our success and a critical part of our customer's positive experience with us. To support our customers effectively you will;
- Pick and load vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Some manual handling required at times
- Maintain and observe Health & Safety and housekeeping standards at all times
- Ensure all routine checks are completed accurately within the designated timeframe
- Achieve and contribute to Health and Safety targets
- Contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction
- Commit to learning and developing within the role
- Experience of driving Forklift trucks would be preferable
- Experience handling different size loads and splitting loads - side loading would be ideal
- Positive attitude within the working environment
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Good literacy and numeracy skills and PC literate
- A good practical understanding of Health and Safety
