Our leading home development client is currently looking to expand their team.
We are currently looking for a part time health and safety advisor to support our construction site team in their duties.
You will be reporting directly to the Construction Director
**Key Duties / Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance to site managers with initial site setup to ensure all safety documentation and signs are in place.
- Should any works be required to cease you would need to take photographic evidence and provide a detailed written report to the construction director.
- Support our site tradesman with ongoing health and safety training.
- Carry our formal site inspections and provide written report scoring the site with photos to support.
- Investigate & report to the Construction Director all potential RIDDORS, Accidents, Minor Injuries, Non-Conformances and Near Misses.
- Investigate & report all Enforcing Authority visits to the Construction Director.
- Analise site reports to find high risk tasks and how we can improve
- Attend monthly management meeting to present your findings and areas of improvement.
- Produce monthly summary reports.
- Deliver on site Toolbox talks & Training where required.
- Assist in the development of site and business action plans.
**Required Qualifications**:
- NEBOSH Construction
- NEBOSH Environment
- AIEMA
- TechIOSH
**Key knowledge and skills**:
- Construction experience essential
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Knowledge of current Health and safety legislation.
- Report writing skills.
- Risk assessment writing
- Carry out high level of research knowledge.
