We are currently seeking a dedicated Bridal Sales Consultant to join our team at Emma Roy of Edinburgh, a leading bridal boutique. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting industry and play a pivotal role in making brides' dreams come true.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to brides and their entourages, creating a warm and welcoming environment in the boutique.
- Assist brides in selecting their wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, and other wedding-related attire.
- Understand and interpret brides' preferences, style, and wedding vision to provide personalized recommendations and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest bridal trends, designers, and collections to offer expert advice and suggestions to clients.
- Conduct fittings and alterations appointments to ensure a perfect fit for brides and their bridal party.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the boutique, including keeping the inventory well-arranged and properly displayed.
- Manage sales transactions, including processing payments and handling any necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Handle any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally.
- Participate in bridal shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the bridal industry, is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for weddings, bridal fashion, and trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with brides and their families.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion and style.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of wedding gown alterations and fitting procedures is an advantage.
- Familiarity with popular bridal designers and their collections is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for managing sales transactions and client information.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £8.62-£10.48 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (required)
- customer service: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
