**What does the team look like?**

Role is within the Credit team that review and decision all new business proposals from direct and indirect sources for a broad range of assets.

**What is the description of role and key responsibilities?**
- Process and make decisions on all new deals and transactions with a mandate of £ 150,000 (dependant on experience and following full training).
- Make detailed recommendations on new deals and transactions above personal mandate.
- Analysis of financial information.
- Maintain relationships between Investec and key brokerages.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the division to drive efficiency for growth.
- To always act with integrity and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly.
- Preparation of management information in relation to the existing portfolio.

**What are the required core skills and knowledge?**
- Analytical Skills: Ability to engage in financial analysis to appraise deals at a level appropriate to the size and risk level of the transaction.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Awareness of the market landscape in the UK, competitors, and general economic knowledge.
- Relationship Management: Ability to identify, build and maintain rapport and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work in alongside a team of professionals in an open, collaborative, and non-hierarchical team environment.
