Junior Management Accountant
Location - Bury
Salary - £35,000 - £42,000
Simpson Judge are working with a manufacturing company, with offices based in Bury. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity with a reputable company. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business as Junior Management Accountant, offering study support& hybrid working.
Main responsibilities include:

- To analyse the monthly inventory stock
- Accounting for main site.
- Review management pack and prepare accruals/prepayments.
- Complete month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting of P&L and B/S and Cashflow.
- Support quarterly and year end activities for a business.
Other responsibilities:

- Analysing Inventory levels, including calculating and posting provisions and flagging up potential future quantity and technical risk
requirements. The net stockholding of the business is circa £26m and contains around 16,000 SKUs.
- Posting month end activity journals.
- Carrying out a detailed monthly cost centres/departmental analysis.
- Reviewing and analysing payroll postings.
- Managing Fixed Asset and Fixed asset register as per Siemens guideline.
- Assisting with PSA and Tax Pack in line with Siemens guidelines in coordination with the Central Tax team.
- Preparing & maintaining R&D reports within strict deadlines.
- Supporting FC with other ad hoc duties such as insurance questionnaire, ONS, procurement saving report, raising finance
purchase orders, review SPODOM request).
Experience/Skills required:

- Previous management accounting experience
- Previous SAP user (ideal but not required)
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA finalist preferable
