To provide first aid, and occasionally life-saving services to those who need help at public events in accordance with current scope of practice. We have immediate work available both on our own events and supporting industry partners.

**Qualifications Required**:
In possession of a recognised UK pre-hospital care qualification such as:

- Qualsafe FREC-3
- FPOS-I
- 2nd year+ Student Paramedic
- Enhanced/advanced first aider certificate issued by British Red Cross/St John Ambulance

**What we are looking for**

You need to have good interpersonal, diplomacy, communication and teamwork skills. We are passionate about getting the basics right meaning we are looking for individuals who are committed to patient care and who strive to improve maintain their skills at all times. We keep the beneficiary at the heart of what we do, working to understand their needs and the difference we make.
- Understanding of the needs of service users of different ages, differing physical needs and varying background
- Willing to maintain own CPD and attend any CPD days we initiate
- Able to demonstrate competence in Basic Life Support at least once per year
- Must be physically fit to undertake all of the procedures as per the Lifeline Medical Services Ltd scope of practice.
- Willing to uphold our values at the heart of everything they do
- Can provide evidence of enhanced DBS check on the update service or is willing to undertake this.

**Typical tasks include**
- Helping other members of the team set up and dismantle first aid posts
- Providing first-aid care in line with current protocols and standards, both internally and those set by governing organisations.
- Completing all paperwork associated with first aid delivery
- Using communication equipment, if required, in accordance with the radio licence and guidelines, and keeping appropriate records of use
- Having awareness of the information governance policies and treating patient’s confidential information in line with policy and the law
- Being responsible for your own competence within your skillset, arranging refresher training and CPD as required, we are dedicated to assisting staff with development where possible

**Location**

Lifeline Medical Services Ltd covers the North of England and Scotland. However, as our portfolio expands events are becoming available outside of these areas.

Staff are requested to make their own way to an event site or arrangements can be made to meet at a central location and travel as a group.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- UK pre-hospital care qualification as per job description (required)
