Bright Purple are proud to be supporting an exciting client within the Edinburgh area who are seeking a talented Contract Specialist to join our clients dynamic Procurement team on a contract basis for an initial 12 months.

This Contract Specialist role will perform a range of duties including reviewing/negotiating contract terms, preparing contracts, evaluating bids, and researching current regulations. In this role you will be responsible for driving flawless implementation of contracts and pricing strategies throughout the contract continuum from developing paper through contract load and maintenance and various contract templates to support the business and support terms and conditions redlines for supplier contracts across the enterprise.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, business contract management or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
- Fantastic negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns.
- Demonstrable experience within a very fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage
- Drive to understand products and offerings, strategies, and business objectives.
- Ability to influence and align complex groups of stakeholders towards overall business objectives.

This is a 12 month contract position with the daily rate varying on experience.
